Description: AKT (PKB) is a family kinase, which is responsive to the cell activation. The anti-Akt phosphor ser473 antibodies were raised with an antigen peptide based on sequence of human Akt1 C-terminal with the phosphor-site at ser473 and affinity purified with the same peptide followed by adsorption with the non-phospho peptide on the agarose. The affinity purified antibodies were useful for detection of the Akt kinase with phosphorylation site at ser473 only, not cross-react with the non-phosphorylated Akt. |
