Description: Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal anti-phospho Crebtide (pCrebtide) antibodies are developed using a unique technique of ImmuneChem. The pCrebtide antibodies are affinity purified using phospho-Crebtide on agarose followed by affinity adsroption with non-phospho Crebtide. The purified antibody was conjugated to horse radish peroxidase (HRP) via reductive amination. Direct label of primary anti-pCrebtide will avoid the use of secondary antibodies therefore eliminating the interference of the 2nd antibody-conjugates, also facilitate the assay. The antibodies could be utilized for detection and quantitation of phosphorylated Crebtide by target protein kinases. |

Species: Rabbit
Formulation: 250 µg/mL in PBS, pH 7, with 50% glycerol.
Storage & Stability: Store product at –20 0C. One year from date of shipping.
Immunogen: phospho-Crebtide (KRREILSRRPpSYR)-KLH
Purification: Affinity purified with KRREILSRRPpSYR on Agarosefoolow by affinity adsorption with non-phosphorylated Crebtide
Specificity: The antibody recognizes only the phophophorylated Crebtide product of PKA and PKC in a non-radioactive kinase assay. There is no cross-reaction with the non-phosphorylated Crebtide.
Conjugation: reductive amination, HRP/Ab molar ratio: 2:1
Application(s): ELISA (1:1000), WB (1:1000)
Scientific Description: Creb (cAMP Response Element Binding) proteins are transcription factors that regulate the activities of certain gene transcription. Crebtide is a peptide (KRREILSRRPSYR) derived from Creb protein. PKC kinases phosphorylate Crebtide to phospho-Crebtide
