Product Description
Affinity purified rabbit polyclonal phospho-threonine antibody (anti-pT) was developed using a phospho-threonine-KLH conjugate and phosvitin mixture as the immunogen. The phospho-threonine specific antibody was affinity purified with phospho-threonine immobilized on agarose.

Phospho-threonine KLH conjugates and phosvitin mixture
The antibody was affinity purified with phospho-threonine on agarose followed by affinity absorption with threonine on agarose.
The antibody recognizes proteins and peptides phosphorylated on threonine residues. There are no cross reactions with phospho-tyrosine.

Threonine is one of the 20 naturally occurring amino acids. Kinases phosphorylate threonine to phospho-threonine which enters various biosynthetic pathways in the body.
